Well guys, it's on. You've got the two best teams in the Big 10 in Ohio State and Michigan facing off against the two best teams in the ACC in FSU and Clemson. Clemson against Ohio State and FSU vs Michigan. Should be great matchups in both bowls.

I know you are disappointed about not making the Playoff but I've learned the past two years to never be disappointed in a New Year's Six Bowl. We won the NC in 2013 and made the Playoff in 2014 and I felt let down by a Peach Bowl appearance last season.

If making the Playoff is the only thing to be excited about then only 4 teams will be motivated to play their Bowl games. The other bowls still matter especially for Conference pride like in this instance with the ACC vs Big 10.

I HATE having to get behind "my" conference and pull for O$U. But now I've begun to be worried about Clemson being a power year in & year out & the recruiting battles that we seem to go head to head with them. I'm at a loss as to who to pull for.

There won't be a let down. It's the Orange Bowl against FSU. It's an opportunity to win 11 games for this season and be completely honest here....UM has lost 2 out of their last 3 games so they have something to prove on the road.

I can almost assure you that Harbaugh and the seniors will play very hard. I would be worried a little if it was the Capital One bowl against a lesser opponent like Va Tech but not FSU.

Here is how I would sell this game if I were Harbaugh.

1. We can win 11 games and improve from last year.
2. Orange Bowl. He won it with Stanford. Brady won it against Alabama.
3. FSU
4. Outside of 10 wins and a win against our in state rival who is 3-9, who have you beat on the road?

Who needs to sell anything? It's the Orange Bowl! If you can't get up for the OB then you're not a CFB fan.

If UM does lose, I'm taking the bama route and pretending that the players didn't care because it wasn't the NC game.
