I was listening to the Longhorn Radio Network talk yesterday about how disappointed they'd be if Texas went to the B10. All very much against it. This came after a report from B10 country about adding OU/Texas in 2024/25.
ACC was the clear favorite by all four peeps on the broadcast with the PAC 12 a close second. The disdain for our conference was surprising - "a bad fit culturally" - and also they talked about how the old school football that we play is boring to watch, a little too dull (I guess they mean defense). They also said no way to the SEC.
Interestingly, they badly want to play ND - they all agreed how awesome that would be.
They were very shortsighted imo - leaving out some obvious positives ($$$) and some great match-ups and new B10 venues.
I don't get it. Bummer.
