Odd question, but what if this was OSU and it was a 5 star recruit? Does anyone have a problem with the appearance of impropriety? MDen is not some unrelated entity. Their existence is tied to UM sports, in many ways.
So does it seem dodgy that we have set a precedent that MDen will sign a distribution contract with the father of a scholarship athlete?
I am sure (read: I hope) someone cleared this with compliance, but I still feel squishy about the whole thing....
Just curious if anyone has info on this deal....
