After watching our game today and then MSU's via dvr, I was struck by the superiority of their reserve center play, or Xavier Tillman over Austin Davis. I'd go so far as to say that when Teske is sitting we're at our most vulnerable.
Two years ago I wrote asking why UM was not pursuing Xavier Tillman. I saw him play very good ball for 4 years and thought he could help us. In addition, his mother was a very good player at UM. CB responded he was not Beilein's type of player. I didn't understand why, but assume its because he was a big man without an outside shot. I wonder if CB believes that Beilein wouldn't prefer Tillman over his present option.
I really don't mean to rag too much on CB over this, as typically I'm amazed at his information as well as his analysis and judgment. I just think this one time he made a bad call.
