Michigan isn't bringing in a ton of top-flight prospects for tomorrow's game against Air Force but Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High three-star safety Quinten Johnson will be in attendance and the staff is looking forward to his arrival. I wasn't able to get into a full-blown conversation with Johnson but he did shoot me a few texts about the visit and what he knows about U-M.
"My coach set up the visit and then I just finalized it with Coach [Matt] Dudek," Johnson explained. "Coach Dudek just basically told me when I should get there and said they'd surprise me with the activities.
"I know that Michigan is a top five public university in the country and has one of the best campuses there is. I also grew up watching Michigan on TV, especially in rivalry games against Ohio State. It's arguably the most historic program in college football. It's definitely intriguing to me."
Johnson doesn't hold an offer from the Wolverines at this time but could be a potential candidate once he gets to campus and after. We'll be in touch with him after the visit to see how things went, especially if he picks up that offer.
