The Formula for Winning in College Football
Ok, Lets not kid ourselves. Winning in College football is not about S&C or scheme or play-calling or player development...LOL
Its all about the %*&$#&! TALENT
SAY IT WITH ME: "Its not about the X's and O's, its about the Jimmy's and Joes."
A Modest Proposal
If you win the national championship you have 10 fewer scholarships for 3 years (75 vs. 85)
If you make the college football playoffs you have 10 fewer scholarships for 2 years (75 vs. 85)
If you win your conference you have 10 fewer scholarships for 1 year (75 vs 85)
These are not additive. Only one will apply.
This modest proposal will put a small dent into the almost perennial Alabama vs. Clemson National Championship run
Aside from the fact that it may be impossible to get "formally" approved, I think privately a vast majority of college coaches and AD's would support this proposal.
Your thoughts?
Would this be effective?
What would you change?
