A few thoughts. Who saw this coming

1. PSU the favorite to win the East right now. They are. Looking good MNL.

2. I'll know if UM has a shot after the IU game with O'Korn. Now this is important and Harbaugh is a smart guy. He is going to have to take the reigns off of O'Korn to get him some serious practice. I mean he should let him throw the ball 40 times next week. Not a joke. This team can beat IU with a few turnovers at home. It can. I understand the need to win the game but Harbaugh needs to try and shake the rust off him. Plus, he needs to send the message to OSU that this guy is going to wing it in Columbus.

It would be a mistake on Saturday to just control the ball on the ground. The most important thing for this team is to give them confidence by the end of the 2nd half that O'Korn can lead this team and put points on the board through the air.

Well, call me a pessimist, but I saw this coming. Not the QB injury/O'Korn part (and I agree, I think that we'll be okay if they really work him). I saw this coming from the defensive standpoint. I think that we have holes that MSU exposed and Iowa took advantage of. I think we will see if Indiana was paying attention. I know Ohio State was, which could be bad for us.

Could easily happen. Our O-line, never that great to begin with, is decimated with injuries. Rutgers should be easy enough, but MSU is a different animal in spite of their record. We may need to burn shirts just to get thru the rest of the year.

As a nit picker, I HAVE been disappointed in some of the things I've seen from M's front 7.....or should I say front 11. I was told by some of the so called "experts" that the all B1G team defensive line would be M's starting 4, and the 2nd team all B1G d-line would be M's 2nd team. Now I know that's a bit of an exaggeration, but still have seen them get pushed around a bit by some less than quality offenses.
