On offense, if we're patient, we are going to get open, in rhythm looks from 3, makable shots at the rim (Carolina has size, but not shot blockers), and some points in transition off live ball turnovers and over-penetration/lack of floor balance. Carolina is not good defensively. If we shoot at a reasonable level, points will be there. Defensively, we need to rebound the ball (NC is a terrific offensive rebounding team), stop Luke Maye from killing us from the perimeter (as he did last year), without. forcing extremely heavy use of our small lineup, which may leave us more susceptible on the defensive glass, and keep Coby White from going off. White was fantastic in the Vegas tournament, and can really shoot it off the bounce. Z is great defensively, but White is 6'5",and may be able to shoot over him if Z isn't in his jock at all times. Oh, and also defend without helping off their two senior shooters. Put simply, as good as we are defensively (and we are really, really good), Carolina is a huge challenge on that end.
