A few things I think I know. And a few things I don't know about this team

I think I know why McNamara starts. He's elite at throwing the deep ball with the perfect amount of touch. After watching Patterson, O'Korn, and Milton miss long time after time. Harbaugh finds this refreshing. If you're going to run as much as we do you have to have someone who consistently takes the top off the defense. J.J. will get his turn next year.

I think after watching Corum all year, Harbaugh will recruit one small, shifty fast RB every year along with our typical power back. Finally bringing UM into the age of speed in the back field.

I think we're not going to throw many passes over the middle with McNamara as our QB. His arm angle when he throws is really low causing it to easily tip or float. Watch a replay of the seam pass to All. It was beautiful and exactly what was called for BUT.....If McNamara had a Dlineman in front of him the ball would have hit him in the shoulders. He seems to throw the ball from underneath his chin.

I'd think I'd be willing to bet anyone here that McNamara first interception is a tipped pass at the line.

I think after watching Ravens games that McDonald's defense will be blitzing safeties way more than He's shown so far. In fact if it's anything like the Ravens D, he's only shown about 25% so far. What the Ravens did to the Chiefs was impressive.

I truly think that Harbaugh is back. I think the last couple years He's looked like a man in chronic pain with his hip. As someone who has neck and back issues,it takes a lot out of you until you get rehab and get your medicine right. I'm just guessing but I think Harbaugh is the type to not want to take medicine. To feel he can do it on his own only to realize that there's no shame in chronic pain. Just a vibe I get watching him with his hip.

Things I don't know

What's the point of recruiting smaller receivers if your not going to run option routes like Welker/Edelman? You have a Qb who's strength is accuracy. Why not use that speed in space thing and run option routes with the slot?

Why did it take Harbaugh so long to hire younger college coaches as assistants instead of crotchety old men? College is about relatability to kids. It's about recruiting.

If sports means so little to Michigan's President as some of you in the know says it does. Then why don't the boosters form a club like all the southern schools do? That's big business here in Texas yet I hear nothing about it at Michigan.

Finally, if players are now allowed to be paid for NIL. And there's no rules yet against it or governing body. Then how is anybody really cheating? I've read E.J. mention Michigan will have to get down in the mud for some of these players. But if there no rules then is it really getting dirty? It's hard to break a law that doesn't exist.
