I saw some things last night that I didn't understand and was wondering if someone could explain either the logic of it or what UM should have done to correct it.
-There were many times the last two weeks where Devin Bush blitzes and seemingly just runs right into the center and is completely nullified. What is the logic behind him doing that? It happens quite frequently lately.
-With Kinnel matched up on the slot (hamilton), what is the proper adjustment to that? Who should be covering the slot to avoid that matchup?
-On third or fourth and long, UM had a full back in the game along with the runningback. O'Korn fakes the handoff where no one believed it was a running play, by the time he turns his head from the fake, he defense is all over him. First, why even bother the fake, and secondly, have a fullback in the play where he isn't even an option to catch the ball?
-Is there an hope of improving Higdon and Evans as pass protectors? They are brutal. Is it just a matter of size or something else?
