1. If we do go in a different direction (and it seems it would be best) the next coach needs to understand the modern college game on both sides of the ball. I don't care if they come from an offensive or defensive background. They have to adapt to how the game is changing.
2. No one will be happy with the next defensive coordinator. Either they blitz, play zone, man, I will guarantee there will be those that will disagree with their philosophy.
3. It doesn't have to be a Michigan man but they gotta want to be a Michigan man. They need to understand rivalry football.
4. I am sad that it didn't work out for Harbaugh here, I love Jim and what he has tried to do. I wish that we would have realized that if glitters like gold it might be gold. Jim in his prime was a different beast.
