I know, it’s a complete oxymoron but...he said us playing at NW is like them playing at Purdue. No matter the records or what you think is going to happen, it always turns into a slog. It’s like going to Iowa at night, it’s going to be a fist fight to get a 1 point win. The history is completely there to support the statement. I was guilty of getting ahead of myself in thinking we were going to roll. Especially after the Larkin news came out.

Have to give them credit. They fought like hell and turned it into a slog ( along with our dumb penalties as well as some calls from Mars). Don’t discount the value of this win. 17 point comebacks on the road, even against a struggling team in a moderately hostile environment, can be a huge boost for a teams psyche. As Skene has mentioned before, these players don’t truly know the greatness of Michigan. That died with RR and Hoke. They are learning to play to the standard. Saturday, for all of the frustrations, was a big step in getting there.
