I'm told Jay Harbaugh has been in recent contact with RB/ATH DQ James out of Lancaster (Texas) High in the Dallas-area. The two-star prospect committed to Hawaii during the early period but did not sign. James, who is 5-7, 175, is a gadget player that can be used in the slot and in the return game. He rushed for 1,400 yards as a senior, ran a 10.8 100m as a junior and was part of one of the country's fastest 4x100-meter relay — Lancaster has one of the best track programs in Texas.
