Growing up with Michigan football during the 1970's/80's we were victimized many times by Herculean efforts by opposing place-kickers - Klaban/Skladany from OSU, Harry Oliver and Reggie Ho from ND, Al DelGreco from Auburn, Rob Houghton from Iowa, to name a few, with very few counterpoints from UM (Lantry's OSU misses!). Allow yourself to imagine this season with almost any other first year PK for Michigan in Nordin's place - this season would be a complete disaster.
