There is no doubt that being thrashed by the Buckeyes on our home stadium is an AWFUL way to end the regular season, However!!!!!!!!
As a Michigan fan, I am thrilled to have finished the season at 9-3 losing to Utah (ranked team) MSU (ranked team) and OSU (best team in the nation still). Michigan should have finished 10-2, however, the fluke occurring against the Spartans leaves us at 9-3. We still have an excellent chance finishing with 10 wins with a bowl victory and I predict a bowl victory and a 10-3 finish.
#1-Let's be honest- Harbaugh and staff did a PHENOMENAL job with a team that is limited in talent across the board. They patched together a team in which some of the players had not been playing unitl this year (Houma) and did so with a 5th year transfer who was benched at Iowa for another QB and that team happens to be 11-0 right now with the other QB. UM was seriously limited at the skills positions with no TRUE RB or more than 2 receivers. The defense was going to be the strength of this team and losing 2 DL killed them down the road inside the tackles and having ILB's that are not the greatest also will kill you when that happens.
#2- Ohio State- Yes, it sucks being thrashed by Urby and the cocky Buckeyes but let's remind them right now. YOUR WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WAY BETTER THAN ANYONE IN THE NATION THIS YEAR BY 14 OR MORE POINTS AND YOU TIP TOED ALL YEAR THROUGH THE BIG TEN AND ALLOWED YOUR INDIVIDUAL SUPERSTARS TO BLOW YOUR RANKING FOR THE PLAYOFFS. YOU BLEW IT LAST WEEK AT HOME AGAINST MSU AND NOW YOUR SUPERSTARS ARE LEAVING THIS YEAR. YOU ARE STILL THE BEST TEAM IN THE NATION AND YOU PLAYED LIKE IT TODAY. YOU CAN STILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS BECAUSE YOUR COACH WILL WHINE HIS WAY INTO THE FINAL FOUR WHEN NC DEFEATS CLEMSON IN THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP AND MSU BEATS IOWA NEXT WEEK. PLAYING ALABAMA RIGHT NOW WILL NOT BE AS EASY AS IT WAS LAST YEAR. THEY LOOK VERY GOOD AND ARE PLAYING MUCH MORE INSPIRED AND BEATING SABAN TWICE WILL BE SUPER TOUGH.
