Its not the weather, because we both play in it.
To me, its the natural turf and the refs.
We have a past history of refs going blind in E.Landfill. Then the addition
of the recent refs versus Michigan creating a huge imbalance.
Hopefully our experience as players & instant replay make it harder for refs to determine the game as they have in the past.
The last thing left is the turf. I think one of the reasons we struggle at Northwestern is
the very reason we also struggle at MSU, real grass.
So, to counteract that problem, Im guessing we use our lone grass field to practice on this whole week.
We are fortunate to have it. Might go a long ways this week to level the field of play
Mitigate these two issues and I think it adds positive results for us this weekend.
But, not to forget,, Just Win!
