He has VERY young kids so maybe having younger kids at home has mellowed him out
The difference between so many middle 50s men and him is most atent coaching a high stress job with young young kids at home
We all have our evolution and change and or have a metamorphosis in how they analyze life and how they act and conduct changes as you grow older....
Most of us what the tyrannical possesive head coach but remember after his last kid was born a few years hell he still maybe in diapers he went to the Vatican and even then he said something to the effect of the trip having a profound seminal moment in his life
Can he get it done mellow??? Maybe but lets realize the man that we wanted priorities have respectfully had to change
