Well that sucked....but those who know me on this board, know that I'm not going to start attacking players or campaigning for someone to lose their job. Each and every individual associated with this program is a part of Michigan until they are no longer with the program. Win or lose, I will support them. That doesn't mean I don't question some of the coaching decisions or get upset at a player. But they are still Michigan....

CFP and B1G title are off the table (barring a long list of miracles) so what does the team focus on now? I think it has to be 10 wins. They have to have a goal - one that is realistic. The next three games are winnable. That puts Michigan at 8-2. Then they have to win 2 of 3 against Wisconsin, Ohio State and whoever they get in their bowl game.

I think the difference between 10-3 and 9-4 is huge. Especially, after back to back 10 win seasons. This program needs to avoid any perception of going backwards, even if the difference is just one win. If you get to 10 wins again after losing 10 starters on defense, 7 starters on offense, Newsome's injury, Speight lost, Black lost, replacing two offensive coaches, your punter and your kicker...I think that is something the young kids can hang their hats on and build on.

Here's hoping that the Wolverines circle the wagons, play with a chip on their shoulder, or whatever cliché you want to use. Here's hoping to another 10 win season - maybe even a win over our biggest rival - something to launch this young roster into 2018.

This loss will hurt for another day or two...then its on to Rutgers. Go Blue!
