Awww, dadgummit ! My “other” All-Time favorite football coach has been diagnosed with Covid-19. Coach Bobby Bowden at age 90 was just “Positive” diagnosed.
Complete and utter hero status in our house growing up...bookends (but could hardly be different, personality-wise) Coach Schembechler and Coach Bowden.
Similar in the sense that both could completely “light up a room” and uber-motivate !
Godspeed to Coach Bowden. He has a big family cast around him. A person of faith.
So many, many great stories about him. But he could always tell the best of them.
