Well the weekend turned out the way most of us expected it would - just got there in a different way than we expected.

I know you're referring to winning on the others home ice but also expected was that this series was a microcosim of the season. Poor goaltending, defensive lapses (giving up a breakaway when both defensman fall asleep, and missed scoring chances. The sad thing is Red has to go into his last year with the same goalies and unless they make a marked improvement, you can expect much of the same next year.
