So who else is going into full superstition mode today?
Hopefully, that will not be needed- Racine was pretty tall last night, and whatever was in his head last week seems to be gone- other than that fluky first goal- he had a great game. Made some super strong saves during the game. If I had a fault for him, it would be his puck handling, that a few times he passed to the open PSU player on the board instead of one of our guys. But later in the game, he didn't do that.
It's fun to see Michigan play a team that tries to press an offense instead of a stout defense like that. Like we've seen through the season, the speed totally wore out Penn State. To the point they had to take some really stupid penalties. It was great to see Compher draw a that penalty when we were down 4-3 with an extra guy in the box. Total hustle neutered a massive chance PSU had. (which made up for his line's rather lackluster D effort at times... )
One point behind Minnesota. Honestly, that can't factor in tonight. They need to go out giving the small Senior class a win, and a strong footing in their ONLY NCAA appearance.
