One I'm hoping is wrong on the lack of defensive side for us. And here's why- first- last week against MSU, our D was actually pretty good- most of the time. Most of the goals Friday were flukes, the two on Saturday were breakdowns- but all in all, they looked pretty good. Granted MSU doesn't have a big offense. which leads to second- however we see MSU's offense- Wisconsin's is a little worse- especially now that two of their best scorers are on the sideline.
IMHO, the game will really depend in how well Rumpel plays in net. If he stonewalls us like Hildebrant did last week, well, could be the end. But I don't see Wisconsin scoring more than once.
I think we do win tonight.
And *can* win the whole thing.
(which actually leads to a post season question you should ask Copp and Compher- as the captains, what do you do this off season to build the team so that the inconsistencies reduce some? Both of them have made comments identifying that issue, and they are in a position to do something.)
