Did anyone think we were good last night?

because I didn't, certainly not as good as Spath seems to allude in his article. But, Wisconsin is just too too bad to take advantage of an opponent's mistakes. Their 1:03 of 5 on 3 in the third period was an exercise in incompetence. A comparable effort by us in the same game last season resulted in us getting bounced by Penn State.

HOWEVER - hopefully the quality of our effort and play will amp up tonight (and tomorrow night) with the quality of our opponent.

I only saw the 3rd period and thought for the most part Wisky out played us that period. I sat there and thought if we don't play better then this tomorrow we are done. I agree, I thought Wisconsin is just not very good. That 5 on 3 was pathetic. When their defenseman were standing behind their own net passing the puck back and forth on it and then when they started to move it looked like slow motion. I thought hey thanks for taking 10-12 seconds off that power play for us.

I hope we have a better effort tonight.
